Video: Blockchain in healthcare live stream for national HIT week

On Thursday September 29 at 1pm ET (@healthblawg) will be hosting a roundtable on the impact of blockchain on healthcare.

Speakers include Brian Ahier (@ahier), Leonard Kish (@leonardkish) and Peter Nichol (@PeterBNichol). As we observe National Health IT Week, we take a multifaceted look at the technology and its potential for improving health IT. We welcome your comments and questions.

This discussion will be tailor for the healthcare leader that is a novice regarding the concepts of blockchain. Five main areas will be covered:

  1. What blockchain is?
  2. Explain the benefits of a blockchain?
  3. How blockchain applies to healthcare?
  4. Outline the real challenges with blockchain?
  5. Rapid fire, will blockchain chain the world?
