Cancellation and Refund Policy

This policy was established for the edge cases. My intent is to offer awesome products and world-class coaching; anything less is unacceptable.

If you find yourself in a financially challenging situation or need move coaching, just let me know. I’ll do my best to be reasonable. However, below is the official Data Science CIO cancellation and refund policy.

Product Sales (books, etc.)

  • All sales are final.
  • At my discretion, reasonable efforts may be made to replace books damaged or lost in transit.

Services (executive coaching, speaking engagements, etc.)

  • All sales are final.
  • Data Science CIO does not offer refunds on coaching services.
  • I am here to coach you to your highest level of success, and part of that requires your commitment to being fully invested in your coaching package. When refunds are an option, you can have “one foot in” the work and “one foot out” the door.
  • It is to YOUR benefit to decide BEFORE purchasing your package and committing to work with me to be the right coach for you. You need to be 100% in if you’re in, just as I will be for you. Should you need to reschedule a coaching session, you may do so by providing 48 hours’ notice before your session and making up the session within a week of the originally scheduled date.
  • No Refunds: All sales are final. Coaching services are non-refundable. Success requires a full commitment, so ensure you’re ready before purchasing.
  • Session Expiration: Sessions must be used within 30 days of purchase. Unused sessions expire and cannot be carried over or reinstated.
  • Rescheduling: You may reschedule with at least 48 hours notice and must complete the session within a week of the original date.
  • Recurring Payments: Each payment resets the coaching cycle, establishing a new usage period based on the payment schedule. Unused sessions from the previous cycle do not carry over and expire at the time of the next scheduled payment.
  • Cancellation Policy: You can cancel future coaching sessions at any time, effective for the next billing cycle.
  • Payment Terms: Full payment is required at least 72 hours before the first session.
  • Late Arrivals & No-Shows: If you’re late, your session will still end at the scheduled time. If you’re more than 15 minutes late, it will be considered a cancellation. Sessions not canceled at least 48 hours in advance will be forfeited.
  • First Session Policy: If you cancel the first session with less than 48 hours’ notice, you will be charged at the standard hourly rate.
